On March 11, 2013 a total of 44 students of SMS Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra participated in a program organized by the Club of USM Neuroscience. This is the first screening phase of this IBB contest . A total of 11 schools participating in this contest, including our school. Among the school was the Sultan Ismail College, Naim Lilbanat and MRSM Pengkalan Chepa. God bless us , after a struggled to answer questions that has been given, a total of 22 students SMS Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra was selected for the next phase. The next phase is expected to be carried out on 18 April.

On January 13, 2013 a meeting of Neuroscience Club was held at the Biology lab of SMS Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra . In this meeting the club members discussed the members of the committee members for the year 2013. After consulting with our advisory teacher , we have unanimously elected a member of the committee. This year the club has reached a total of 50 students ranging from every level.

Neuroscience Club
Neuroscience club of Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra Science School was established in 2010. The club is a club under the management of the club Neuroscience Universiti Sains Malaysia. Prof. Dr. Hj. Jafri Malin Abdullah is the president of this club. Our school is one - only neuroscience official club under Universiti Sains Malaysia. Mrs. Mazinah an advisory teacher for the club official. Generally this club is a club of like brain nerve cord. Members of this club have got numerous opportunities to explore the world of science through participation in this club. Various activities were held throughout the year.
