3.00-4.30 pm Even our meeting started a little bit late but,we already are in Biology lab since 3.00 pm.As usual,the meeting started with doa.Then,Puan Mazinah gave welcoming remarks.While waiting the arrival of Dr Mohd Nasir,we were preparing some perfect preparation and enjoying watching our official blog through big screen.Fantastic! ♥
Then,Dr Mohd Nasir started to give talks about the impact if the brain is damaged, such as damage to frontal lobes, parietal lobes, occiptal lobes, temporal lobes, brain stems and also cerebellum.
Through his talk, we can conclude that
damage to frontal lobes,
-can not follow the sequence
-can not focus
-can not play well
-language problems (stuttering)
damage to parietal lobes -problems in reading
-weak in mathematics
-problems to the attention of the picture
damage to occiptal lobes, -vision problems
-problems reading and writing
-difficult to identify the colour
damage to temporal lobes, -could not recognize faces
-the problem of speech of others
-cause temporary memory loss (can not remember for a while)
damage to brainstem, -respiratory problems
-swallowing problems
-insomnia
damage to cerebellum
-problems to coordinate
-unbalanced movements
After that, Dr Mohd Nasir provided a test of mind among the Neuroscience club members.The objective is to test the mind and memory the students about the information that has been presented by Dr Mohd Nasir.

Neuroscience Club
Neuroscience club of Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra Science School was established in 2010. The club is a club under the management of the club Neuroscience Universiti Sains Malaysia. Prof. Dr. Hj. Jafri Malin Abdullah is the president of this club. Our school is one - only neuroscience official club under Universiti Sains Malaysia. Mrs. Mazinah an advisory teacher for the club official. Generally this club is a club of like brain nerve cord. Members of this club have got numerous opportunities to explore the world of science through participation in this club. Various activities were held throughout the year.
