On 14th Nov,2011, the Department of Neuroscience, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia has established the program"KTP Knowledge Transfer Programme-The Brain Apprentice .This Neuroscience Club project brings the participation of two school-based Neurosciences Clubs, namely Sekolah Kebangsaan Kubang Kerian 3 (SKKK3) and Sekolah Menengah SainsTengku Muhammad Faris Petra (SMSTMFP). The program was held at Biology Lab from 9.30 a.m - 12 p.m and organized by Division of Industry & Society and Department of Neurosciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia.
At 9.00 am, the Neuroscience club members from Sekolah Kebangsaan Kubang Kerian 3 (SKKK3) with their teachers arrived at Biology lab of Sekolah Menengah SainsTengku Muhammad Faris Petra (SMSTMFP).Then, Four graduate intern Master of Neuroscience involved in the project is Khalilah Harris, Nurul Iman and Wan Ismail, Abd Ismafairus Aini. Hamid and Mohd. Hanif Che Lah arrived .As usual,the meeting started with doa and a welcome speech from Puan Mazinah, and continued with a speech by a representative graduate intern Master of Neuroscience, Cik Khalilah Harris from the Department of Neuroscience, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia .
At 9.45-10.10 a.m ,briefing on the introduction to brain anatomy was given before the Neuroscience club members divided into seven groups to do surgery on sheep brains dissected and frozen for identification of the role of controlling brain function.The Neuroscience club members must describes the ways and objectives of the surgical operation by presenting their work in front of audience.The presenters conditions must consist of a student from Sekolah Kebangsaan Kubang Kerian 3 (SKKK3) and a student of Sekolah Menengah SainsTengku Muhammad Faris Petra (SMSTMFP).

Neuroscience Club
Neuroscience club of Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra Science School was established in 2010. The club is a club under the management of the club Neuroscience Universiti Sains Malaysia. Prof. Dr. Hj. Jafri Malin Abdullah is the president of this club. Our school is one - only neuroscience official club under Universiti Sains Malaysia. Mrs. Mazinah an advisory teacher for the club official. Generally this club is a club of like brain nerve cord. Members of this club have got numerous opportunities to explore the world of science through participation in this club. Various activities were held throughout the year.
