Some members of the Neuroscience Club a good show when they're done making presentations during the program Exploring Brain Anatomy and Function organized by theNeuroscience Club USM School of Medical Sciences in Secondary School ScienceTengku Muhammad Faris Petra, Kota Bharu, yesterday

KOTA BHARU 15 November - About 100 members of the Neuroscience Department of Neuroscience Club School of Medical Sciences (PPSP), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) to carry out the project "Exploring the Brain Anatomy and Function" at the High School of Science Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra, here today.They are divided into five groups given sheep brains dissected and frozen for identification of the role of controlling brain function.Before the project, all of them were given the theoretical understanding of the USM Health Campus on 20 October.The project leader, Professor. Jafri Malin Abdullah said, exploring the brain anatomy and function is the transfer of programs involving the Ministry of Higher Education of the postgraduate degree.He said through the club, students can communicate directly with the graduate to obtain the knowledge and experience on the field."Once students involved thus have the opportunity to become teachers and imparting knowledge acquired during their studies prior to the club," he said when met here today.
Four graduate Master of Neuroscience involved in the project is Khalilah Harris, Nurul Iman and Wan Ismail, Abd Ismafairus Aini. Hamid and Mohd. Hanif Che Lah.Khalilah said, before the surgery was done, the student describes the ways and objectives of the surgical operation.She said students were also given exposure on brain terminology such as dorsal, ventral, medial, lateral, superor, inferior, anterior and posterior rostral / caudal."They also being showed a rough picture of the external brain, dismantling part of the internal capsule and removing the cortex," she said.
Meanwhile, a member of the club, Nurul Syuhada R. Azmi, 16, told, she was glad to have been chosen to join the clubs because the brain can understand the science of learning outside the classroom."Learning the functions of the brain is something amazing because it has many roles in life," she said click this okay !
